*SOLD ELSEWHERE* I had an old DOS-based application for which I bought an IBM PS/2 several yrs ago but then ended up never using it and updating my application since a proprietary X-Y digitizer failed concurrently. If anyone has a need for a very clean PS/2, here is your chance. Since it weighs nearly 40 pounds with the packaging, lets say 99 cents a pound or $39 via paypal shipped via UPS ground within the CONUSA.
SPECS: IBM PS/2 model 76, type 9576-DUA; processor 80486, base memory 12mb; mass storage 3.5" floppy & 270mb HDD. Comes with nice clicky IBM keyboard (well, actually 2 IBM keyboards, since I found another one) and AC power cord. I will power it up and ensure it actually functions before shipping it out.
I am open to reasonable offers that would cover the shipping. You can estimate the shipping on UPS.com since the package dimensions are 15x19x21 inches and weight is 40# originating from Houston, Texas 77030. However compelling your argument, I am unwilling to put up with the hassle of shipping it internationally, even if you send me a check for millions of dollars.
Don't delay, once its gone, it really is gone....

Software included

Hopefully this will not be viewed as a bump, however, a member asked me about the included software, so I powered up the unit and checked. It has IBM DOS version 6.3 as well IBM antivirus and several old games (stellar, cyberemp and anacreon FWIW). My DOS skills are fairly rusty, so that's about as far as I was able to get. There are (haha) no disks, manuals or other documentation. One keyboard is a nice KB-8923 (FRU 07H0666) and the other is a type M (FRU 1392090). All the keys are intact and seem to be functional. If someone has something specific that they would like checked, I can do so if you send me the instructions.

FYI, I think those were close to $50 a pound, when new.

Also, those keyboard may be worth more than the entire machine. People pay a lot for the Model M keyboards. Check eBay, you might be better off selling just the keyboards.

PS/2's were fine machines. I supported many models on the floor, Model 60, 55SX, 56, 57, 70, 80, etc. We also had Model 95 servers. MCA architecture. Nice!

Post a picture, that gets people excited.

PS/2 machines are nice, I have a bunch myself.

Is there a sound card in it by chance?
