Thinkpads Forum

So my x41 recently has been showing some problems (see topic here), and I'm really in need of a laptop. Since I don't have $200-300 to spend on another thinkpad, would anyone have an x41 working motherboard lying around (perhaps with other damaged parts and such)? Is under $50 reasonable?

Alternatively, perhaps a cheap relatively light (and usable for matlab) thinkpad for sale?
