Perhaps Slugg is referring to the X200 they're selling here?

As for X200 it's got newer tech, which may or may not benefit you depending on your needs. It's got a full sized keyboard. I prefer WXGA over XGA, but that's me. The AFFS screen upgrade is much easier if you're inclined, but you probably already know all of this, right?

I have been pleased for the last week with the x60s I bought off ebay from a place out of PA.

They never come with chargers, though you can pick one up cheap off the Lenovo outlet sometimes or off ebay.

It has an occasional fan growl. Trying to decide if the last four months of warranty service apply to me and if it is worth having them replace it or if I should attend to it my self.

I paid right at $229 or so and had it to me for under $250.

Good luck!

The warranty follows the machine and not the owner. Call the Lenovo support number, tell them your problem. I assume they would consider a fan to be user replaceable. I've done many.

Good luck,
John
