That's drive is a 5400rpm correct?

And what model did this come out of (T4x I assume)? I'd be interested, but only if this drive does not give the 2010 error on boot up for a T41

No laptop hard drive will give a 2010 error in a T41. T43's and R52s are another story.

While I'm not at home, I'm pretty sure it's a 5400rpm. I cannot test in at T41, but I assume you saw the previous comment by HarryC.

Is this drive compatible with the T21 - T23 models? I can't really tell by cross referencing the FRU number.

It's the same form factor (2.5" IDE). Beyond that, I can't say for sure. This post suggests you can (http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=86261), but you may want to further investigate on the T2x board.

Ok, thanks, I will post over in the T2x forum to get a second opinion. I'm interested in the drive, but I would to double check first as I have all older systems.

They ARE compatible with any T2x machine.
