That is a very nice machine. I use a similar T60p widescreen as my work machine, but it has the T7200, and it's still really fast. The T7600 model is the ultimate.

Thanks, underclocker
I mainly use it for HD play. T7600 is awsome, I am considering to change it to a 14" 4:3 T60p w/ the same specs, such as 20078JU, but not sure if the temperature can remain as low as the one on the widescreen model (I compared it with T500 equipped w/ T9XXX processor, which has almost the same temprature)

That comparison is interesting, how does a top of the line T60p compare to the T9400 equipped T500?

To be honest, the processors perform almost the same for my use, decoding HD video, which consumes about 90% capacity of T7600, and about 70% capacity of T9400, however, both of them run the video well
and the temperature is almost the same in my experience
T500 is better for the displayport, ram support (up to 8GB and 1067mhz, VS up to 3gb and 667mhz) and faster Video card. But T60p is still cool considering it is 3 years old, which still performs well for what my need
I am just temptated by the 4:3 ratio screen (I used to own one, but not satisfied with the T2600 processor, which cannot decode the HD video smoothly), so I would like to sell it and get a 14" one with T7600 as well
