Hey everyone, new to the boards, long time lurker. I have for sale right now a lenovo x61 tablet. This tablet was sold to me by a distributor a few months ago in an overstock sale. The tablet has the docking station for it and a wireless keyboard/ mouse and all accessories needed to hook it up to a larger screen ( currently hooked up to a 42" LED tv) I am pretty flexible on the price, however I can't afford to lose to much due to desperately needing to buy a car as I have my first child on the way.

Basic info from memory on the Tablet are

Windows XP
250GB Hard Drive (upgrade)
3GB of Ram (upgrade)
Removable DVD - RW Drive
2 stylus pens
Dock
Carrying Case


Logitech MK-700 Keyboard and mouse

I will also include two Ironkey flash drives as well with it for free that are government grade with all sorts of cool military - grade encryption and sweet stealth browsing, its waterproof, yadda yadda yadda do some research. LOL.

I am looking to sell this week hopefully, I was thinking of starting around $850 shipped. Please don't hesitate to shoot offers at me, I will be gladly able to work well within any budget, thanks for looking!!

I think most of these go in the $450-550 range nowadays. Just check your local Craigslist and eBay for prices.

Can you give more specs of this machine? For example, what kind of lcd panel it has, battery (condition, number of cells) etc?

If it has any warranty left, which it may if it's only a few months old, that may help your cause as well. If you just post the machine type, located on the bottom of the machine, one can easily find the specs.

This seller, eyebeehim seems to have taken $30 from another forum member and disappeared..

he fails to respond to telephone calls or emails and has not been on the forum since Aug 9th..

he took the above mentioned $30 via WESTERN UNION money transfer..

this should be a warning to all to NEVER EVER trust ANYONE who demands, for whatever reason, that they be sent mnoney via WESTERN UNION since anyone with a grain of sense would be alerted to the high probability of impending fraud..

thats why PayPal exists with all of its stringent rules..

it might be that we here in forum management shall prohibit any offerings for sale that are unwilling to use PayPal..

EDIT: NOTE, Any offerings not accepting PayPal should be regarded as possible fraud.. and a demand for WESTERN UNION should be regarded as giving cash to strangers since WESTERN UNION has been regarded as free money by internet scammers for many years..
