LF: UltraBay 2000 CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo

hi,

my t21's dvd-rom stopped working; i was playing with a linux live-cd and did something and now i can't get it to boot such disks from the dvd-rom drive.

i bought a replacement off *bay with the same part # (27L3447), but it arrived with a sata connector!

if anyone has a cheap combo drive lying around let me know; i'm assuming my t21 can burn cds under linux.

I have an Ultrabay Enhanced DVD Multi+ (FRU 39T2503)
When I googled it said the Ultrabay Enhanced DVD Multi+ will fit the Ultrabay 2000 if used with this adapter -- I have no use for this Ultrabay Enhanced DVD, so you could have it for shipping if you can locate the adapter you would need.

I did a pretty extensive search, and it seems the adapter is almost impossible to find -- sorry I didn't realize that before I posted -- it may be much easier just to find the Combo Drive you are looking for --

If you are still offering the I have an Ultrabay Enhanced DVD Multi+ (FRU 39T2503) I could use it for my wife's R51.
