I am selling a Thinkpad R52 in very nice condition. It has the Intel GPU, so no worries about GPU failure on this machine. It's very reliable. No cracked plastics, perfect bright LCD with no dead pixels, new battery. There are some light scratches on the outer LCD cover (hardly noticeable) and very minor wear on the keyboard, it almost looks new. Overall a great running and looking machine.

Do you happen to know if the motherboard in this can be swapped in to a T4x?

Yes it can, but you won't be able to use the Firewire on the R52 board. Also, unless the target machine is a T43, you'll need to use the CPU and RAM from the R52. You'll need to pay attention to LCD's too. There are some rules with regard to Intel GPU's and SXGA+ or better LCD's. This R52 is a 15" Intel machine, and it's supposed to support SXGA+ LCD's. What is the exact target machine you had in mind?
