the basics:
ThinkPad T43p 2687-D5U

80GB 5400rpm HD................now 60GB/5400rpm, recovery partition intact
15in 1600x1200 LCD
128MB ATI FireGL V3200
CDRW/DVDRW..................now CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive
IBM 802.11abg wireless
Bluetooth/Modem
1Gb Ethernet
UltraNav
Secure chip
Fingerprint reader...................please read below
9c Li-Ion
WinXP Pro..................COA intact
Up for grabs is a nicely-spec'd T43p with some imperfections and downgrades, which are reflected in the asking price...
The biggest imperfection (in my opinion) are several light-coloured pressure marks on the LCD, which are visible on certain backgrounds. Furthermore, the original palmrest had several asset tags that wouldn't come off, so it was replaced with one that doesn't have a fingerprint reader. With all of that said, the machine's ability to accept a palmrest with a FPR was not altered - throw in a proper one, and enjoy the FPR.
The machine has no warranty remaining, but has been fully tested and will be guaranteed against DOA and to arrive as described.
Asking $200 firm plus shipping at cost almost anywhere in the world.
PM or email me diractly to tataslonATaol.com with any questions/concerns.
