Looking to get a battery with some good battery life (ideally 3+ hours) for a T43.

The got some 6 cell batteries in the outlet for less than $40. They're good and cheap, though it's not the nine cell. You may get three hours depending on the screen size and brightness.

I think I have what would be a generic 12-cell I got on ebay a few years ago. I'll let you know what I find.

I am readying my T43-1871 to pass on to my father-in-law. He will use it docked, and can keep the 6 cell battery so I am willing to sell the 9 cell battery it came with. Fru 92-P1077, Sanyo mfg 2008-06-18, first use 2008-09, 195 cycles. I was surprised when I plugged it in last night and Power Manager showed 4:19 to go with a 98% charge. Shows full charge as being 61.03 wh and design capacity as being 77.76. I have never done a reset on this battery, acquired the unit thru Craigslist last fall.

I didn't see them in the outlet, but I need a good battery too for a T42, at least a couple hours run time

I don't know what to look for or to avoid in batteries. I just got a T41 that needs a battery.
Any advice is much appreciated.
