My mistake is your gain. Up for sale is a new Samsung 15" LCD (LTN150P4-L01) G40, G41, R40 series (It may work with other series, I don't know) LCD. I just purchased this to upgrade my A31 but this screen won't work with that line. The screen is brand new and is in perfect condition.

I'm just looking to unload it for less than cost which would be $26 shipped anywhere in the continental US. Its practically a giveaway!

Also I have a brand new R51 palmrest (15" P/N: 91P8751) - 5$ plus shipping

And an A3* 15" video cable: N27L0681 ($7) and inverter:26P8132 ($7) plus shipping which should be about $5. All items have been tested and are working.

Even though it's not a flexview, I would use it if it would work in an R51.

BTW, how was it that it would not work in the A31? Connector didn't match, screw holes different, etc.?

Not sure of the whys and wherefores of it not working. It might be a connection problem (but don't hold me to that as the sxga cable isn't even long enough). Its listed in both the thinkwiki and IBM pages as working with the G40, G41, R40, A30 but evidently the P-series *11P8298* (P4 in this case) of this panel doesn't work with the A series thinkpad. What I needed is the LTN150PE (PE series) to work with the A3* thinkpads.

Will it work in an R51? I don't know. IIRC, I think the R-series panels are interchangeable and its listed to work with the R40. But then again it was also listed to work with the A31 series and it didn't. I can confirm that the panel works, it just doesn't work with my series thinkpad.
