WinXP Pro.............COA intact
A very sweet machine with some wear on the lid/bottom, but the main issue with this fine ThinkPad is the fact that the LCD boots with red hue on the start, so the backlight has definitely seen better days. Apart from that, the screen is very clean and still sufficiently bright so if you were looking for a CCFL transplant candidate that would make the effort involved rewarding, this is likely as good as it gets.
Or, if CCFL swap is not your cup of tea, I've got an extremely nice 15" SXGA+ FlexView LCD from a T43 that can be discussed...at additional cost, that is...
No issues apart from the aforementioned ones, clean bill of health when it comes to GPU/Southbridge and other standard T4x/R5x ailments. Guaranteed against DOA and to arrive as described.
Asking $125 shipped within U.S. or $110 + shipping at cost almost anywhere else.
