LF/WTB: T60 or T61

Helloe folks!


I am shopping on behalf of a local charity which serves the families and friends of patients with Alzheimer’s disease. For the past year or so, they have operated as an all volunteer effort but have now secured funding such that an executive director can be hired.

To support that role, a dependable laptop is needed for productivity tasks and presentations.

I originally hoped to be able to purchase something in the $400-600 range and was looking at the Lenovo outlet for T400 and R400/500 models.

It is now apparent that is beyond the budget of the organization.


As such, I am looking for T60/T61's with Core 2 Duo processors and Intel Grpahics in the $300 and lower price range.


Anyone have a machine to discuss or resources to offer? Got a special ebay connection?


I don't really expect a warranty, though it would be a nice bonus. If I were using it myself, I wouldn't worry a bit as I enjoy tearing into them, but need this to be a pretty solid machine for the end user.
