I'm looking for a hard drive compatible with my X41T rebuild. Are any of your remaining drives compatible, and what are their condition and current prices? Thanks.

Note: also need HDD caddy, cover and a stylus; either an external USB optical drive or Ultrabay Slim USB drive enclosure solution too.

Haven't had a complaint yet and most are NOS anyway. All of these will need the ZIF-IDE caddy instead.

Do you have suggestions on a drive caddy / cage / ZIF-to-IDE adapter ...
to allow a 64GB SSD to replace a 32GB in an X41 tablet?

I found one z2i cage / adapter, but ... it does not fasten to the drive very well ... zif is lovely, but ... the whole deal still has to be sturdy install into the X41 tablet's drive slot, and it is not.

I don't know what to do.

Please advise.

WindowsXP factory image is free on the drive if you send a picture of your COA. Choice of tablet or non-tablet image, hidden partition intact. I cannot check integrity of the tablet image anymore since my last X41t is gone.
