I'm looking for a hard drive compatible with my X41T rebuild. Are any of your remaining drives compatible, and what are their condition and current prices? Thanks.

Note: also need HDD caddy, cover and a stylus; either an external USB optical drive or Ultrabay Slim USB drive enclosure solution too.

Haven't had a complaint yet and most are NOS anyway. All of these will need the ZIF-IDE caddy instead.

SJT ....

Do you have suggestions on a drive caddy / cage / ZIF-to-IDE adapter ...
to allow a 64GB SSD to replace a 32GB in an X41 tablet?

I found one z2i cage / adapter, but ... it does not fasten to the drive very well ... zif is lovely, but ... the whole deal still has to be sturdy install into the X41 tablet's drive slot, and it is not.

I don't know what to do.

Please advise.
Thanks for your time.

Haven't been following this forum closely and got PMs about this, my apologies. Here is what I can offer:

HDD, PATA ZIF interface:
Hitachi 60GB, 4200rpm, 2 avail, $60
Samsung 80GB, 4200rpm, 2 avail, $75 (single platter)
Samsung 100GB, 4200rpm, 1 avail, $75
Samsung 120GB, 4200rpm, 4 avail, $85
Samsung 120GB, 5400rpm, 2 avail, $95

SSD, PATA interface, used:
Samsung 32GB SSD, 1 avail, $75
Sandisk 32GB SSD, 2 avail, $75
I will do an all "1" write to return to new condition and performance before shipment. These will not support TRIM but I have instructions to do manual garbage collection.

ZIF adapter tray, add $15
S/H within U.S. free
S/H please inquire (FOB origin with proof of shipment)

WindowsXP factory image is free on the drive if you send a picture of your COA. Choice of tablet or non-tablet image, hidden partition intact. I cannot check integrity of the tablet image anymore since my last X41t is gone.

All members who join before 2010 or have 500+ post gets a $15 discount.

Thank you for your interest.

Is there a way to get a CF or SSD on this thing for under $60?
