LF: T60 Set of Recovery Disks 2007-CTO

The boot CD and the Recovery DVD I have are not working and I've been unable to get to the bottom of, or find a way around, the problems. I did post it up in the T6x forum but it's not striking a chord with anyone ATM. I get an error during the restore

"Product Recovery could not find the file X:\Preboot\Utils\Convert.cmd" OK?

I've not been able to find out what the executable does or where I can get a copy from - it isn't on the boot CD I have - I checked in the iso file it was made from. All the similar problems I've read about have been circumvented by restoring from the hidden partition - my machine won't do that - I tried that and got the same error.

The T60 is a 15" model, 100GB drive, 2GB memory.

I spent all day today trying to fix that error. I found my first disk of the recovery set was bad.

I have the exact same issue. I called IBM and explained and they said to buy another set ! Wonderful, the set I bought at IBM has corruted files which prevents my installation and they want me to buy another set. Sighhhh. My patience with the NEW IBM, lenovo, is running thin.
