The card was not in the box but the seller 2nd day aired it to me...very responsive. No other issues.

True! The seller raised the price two times in the last couple of days, now it's $249 plus $9 shipping (minus about $5 eBay cashback).

Should have caught that low!

Tempting. Then again, I often consider buying another ThinkPad against many expenditures (Shoes, clothes, food....prostate exam)

Not that I can really afford it in either circumstance, but would I notice much of a difference in either direction compared to my T61 (My config in sig) with this in base config, or even bumped up to 4GB in RAM? I traditionally stay away from Celerons, but it still tempts.

LOL, you are not comparing a thinkpad (even a Lenovo one) to a Prostate exam? Really?

Just got the package from UPS. Hardware is as advertised and the PCMCIA wireless card was included (a Planex 802.11n card). BIOS is out of date (2.16). There is only one snag.

The warranty expires July 9th, 2012 and not in September as advertised.

Do you guys think I should contact the seller and bring it up? I'm not sure there is really anything he can do. I guess this is more of a FYI for anyone else who might order.

I ordered three of these @ $235 each the other day for my employer as spares and should receive them on Tuesday. A friend of mine ordered two for his business the same day. Looking forward to see how these turn out-definitely a good deal! Thanks for the heads-up on these.
I lost count...

Today I added an LG WSXGA+ 1680x1050 LCD and an Intel 5300 wireless N card to mine. A bluetooth card is on the way, and I'm shopping around for a P8400 or P8600 CPU. As I said earlier in the thread, these are very easily upgradeable. All wires and antennas are in place. You do need a new LCD cable to go to WSXGA+ though.

Cool. Did you get a new or used panel, and did you get any bad pixels?

It was a used panel, no dead pixels.
