ORIGINAL MARKETPLACE POST DESCRIPTION:
"SOLD to forum member: Near Mint T41 with R51 motherboard transplant and several excellent upgrades. This is one T4x machine that will never suffer from a loose GPU! I swapped out the motherboard with an R51 motherboard that uses an integrated Intel graphics chipset. It works perfectly and is in near mint condition. Please see this thread for more info about this type of upgrade --> http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=65505
The LCD is very bright and has no dead pixels/scratches/hot spots. The plastics, palmrest, keyboard and case are near mint with only slight evidence of wear. The battery is from a T43 and is in excellent condition, see statistics below. I've upgraded the CPU, memory and hard drive. The hard drive is a 60GB 7200rpm Hitachi. This machine is fast, cool and quiet.
This is an awesome, reliable T4x machine and one that IBM/Lenovo should have offered to the public. (I built two and am still using the other.)
