WTB: WLAN card and 512Mb SODIMM for T30

My T30, running Linux Mint, has started to freeze when used on Wireless for a while. The PC-Doctor test points toward a flaky WLAN card, so I am interested in buying a new one. The Mini PCI card that's there now, has FRU P/N 12P3657. But since Linux doesn't have any Device Manager like I am used to from Windows, there is really little else I can tell about it. I just know that it doesn't support WPA encryption, only WEP.
So I am basically interested in any card that does the same job, except I would prefer one that supports WPA. The seller wasn't sure if he did the BIOS non-1802 error fix on this T30, but I am capable of doing that myself if I get this error.
At the same time, I am also looking for another 512MB SODIMM module for it. The one that's already there is a Kingston KTM TP0028/512, but it's no big deal I get a different brand, as long as it's a DDR266/PC2100. I know you can also use DDR333/PC2700 modules in these machines, but I don't know if one DDR333 module and one DDR266 module would work together(?)
If you have both these things, I would be happy to buy both at the same time. However, the memory module depends a little bit on the price. The laptop runs smoothly as it is with only 512MB, and it's just a fun project, so I am not willing to put too much money into it.
Thanks!
