the T60 series is, i think, one of the very best thinkpads ever and this one, while it only has the 1024x768 display should be on your list if you want a good basic thinkpad..

re: i posted the link because I couldn't find it our their website. I got their daily email yesterday, that's how i got the link.

when i just now clicked on the link in your post it went right to the but.com deal for the T60..
its still there as of now..
and it let me add it to "my" shopping cart..
maybe something with your browser..
