WTB: Ultrbay Slim DVDRW-CDRW drive

I like to store things on DVDs and find that method of saving data has come in handy over the last year. I have a lowly DVD/CDRW drive now and find it almost ludicrous to store on CDs. 700mb isn't very much when you have video to store! I also transcode rarely but when I do the DVD writer would certainly come in handy :)

TIA!

Hi Richk :)

I have an enclosure like this.

It has the IDE/PATA bridge so I'm guessing any Ultrabay Slim from the T4x/T6x/Z6x/X60ultrabase/X61ultrabase would work.

If archiving is key, BD-R or RW writable drives can store far more on Blu-Ray than DVD.

For instance:

Of course, it's SATA, so the older enclosure is a no-go.
