SOLD to forum member: Complete T40 that works but won't charge a battery.
This complete T40 has a defective mobo, but still works and has many good parts. The machine was purchased new by a friend of mine about 7 years ago. It won't charge batteries any more, but will run from the AC adapter (no GPU issue that I can tell). The machine is in good overall condition and the XGA LCD looks excellent, very bright with good hinges and slight rub mark from mouse button. I believe the battery will work (but probably not well, please assume it's bad), there are some LCD cover scuffs, some shine on the keyboard and the palmrest has that typical small crack below the touchpad. The machine was manufactured in June 2003 and made in Mexico, it must be one of the first to roll off the assembly line. It rarely left my friend's house.
$79 delivered in the U.S. PayPal, USPS money order or cash accepted.
