There seems to be two part numbers not sure which is correct. it has a 3.2ghz P 4

Fan assembly
CPU 3 GHz models 91P8536 N

Fan/heatsink assembly for F4
All models 26R8028 N

Is the fan assembly physically missing from the unit?

I have a very similar machine (slightly stronger CPU, the rest of the specs are identical) on its way to me. Once it arrives, I'll open it up and let you know what the FRU of the fan is.

Now finding one might not be that easy, but let's cross that bridge once we get to it...

The second FRU is correct, according to the fan in my machine.

What was the model type of your machine? What does 'F4' stand for?
