FS (Aust): Apple Mac Mini C2D 2.0, Bluray, 4GB/80 or 750GB

For sale is my Mac Mini. I had been using this as a general desktop machine using Windows 7, but needed a bit more graphics horsepower for some 3D/GIS stuff on a 30" primary display. These are an excellent, quiet and generally unobtrusive computer with the flexibility of running either Windows and Mac OS with no compromise. It would also excel as an HTPC; if I didn't already have one, I would use it for this.

This is the Mini from last year, immediately before the current Unibody style one. It supports dual monitors (one dual-link, one single-link) through its mini-Displayport and mini-DVI ports. I had no issues using Apple's mini-DP to Dual-Link DVI adapter (not included in sale) under Windows 7.

The original internal DVD-RW drive had died an early death, and I have since replaced it with a Bluray drive unit. I don't actually own any Bluray discs, but it does show up in profiler tools as being good to go! :)

The unit itself is in excellent condition and is the following spec:

Apple Mac Mini A1283 (http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/m ... specs.html)
2.0GHz Core 2 Duo
4GB RAM (2x2GB)
internal Bluray drive - reads Blu-ray, reads and writes DVD/CD
either 80GB/5400rpm or 750GB/5400rpm hard disk, your choice
GeForce 9400M graphics
5x USB ports
a/b/g/n wireless
Bluetooth
Gigabit ethernet
Firewire 800 port
mini-DVI port
mini-Displayport
sound in and out (optical and normal)
AC power adapter
mini-DVI to DVI adapter

I have lost the original Mac OS X disc, but have my backup disc (Snow Leopard).

Price: AU$550 with the 80GB hard disk, or AU$650 with the 750GB disk. Price includes postage within Australia.

I had a buyer lined up for this, but they've since disappeared - any other interest out there? These make a great power efficient desktop (they use only ~25W in use, cf. 100-150W for a typical desktop) on either Windows or MacOS.

The Dual-Link DVI adapter is also available for sale extra, if anyone needs it for running a 27" or 30" monitor.
