Checking to see whether there's any real interest in this thing of beauty...
the basics:
ThinkPad Z61m 9450-38U
Original description:
T2300E(1.66GHz)
1GB RAM.................now 2GB (single DIMM, one slot open)
100GB 5400rpm HD
15.4in 1680x1050 LCD
128MB ATI Radeon X1400
CDRW/DVDRW
Intel 802.11abg wireless
WWAN (Verizon wireless)
Bluetooth/Modem
1Gb Ether
UltraNav
Sec Chip
IEEE 1394
FPR
Camera
6c Li-Ion batt...............in green, holds 53 out of 56Wh
WinXP Pro
No AC adapter
A pretty clean, top-loaded Titanium lid version of Z61m. I'm very much on the fence regarding its fate, since I do like it, but honestly don't need it...
known imperfections:
- Some wear in the lower RH corner on the lid, still looks a lot better than the vast majority of the Titanium-era ThinkPads that I've seen
- There's a 1" crack in the base plastic by the battery bay area, no pieces are broken off, but it's there. I presume that someone was too forceful in pushing in the wrong type of the battery at some point in this laptop's life, but there's no way of knowing.
If it were not for these two issues described above, I'd say that this machine is near mint. There's barely any wear on the keyboard an palmrest - just the lightest shine imaginable - and the screen is downright flawless, not to mention that it's as nice as any non-IPS LCD I've ever seen on a ThinkPad.
I'd like to get $300 + actual shipping cost.
PM or email me directly to tataslonATaol.com with any questions/concerns.
