I have a beautiful HP netbook for sale. I've had it for 2 months and used it daily with no problem. This is a 10.1" lcd with the HD resolution 1366 x 768. I just can't get used to a trackpad only, no trackpoint..

OK Dave. A Forum member gave me an idea, so I used magic jellybean and found out that the original os from OEM media was Windows XP SP3.

I saved the file as a document on the hard drive with Product ID and CD Key. So it's a legal copy of XP.

Ron, I am sorry that you can't live without a trackpoint. Have you tried increasing the speed of the mouse pointer to the maximum? IMO, that helps a lot.

I am liking my 5101 more and more. This premium netbook is worth much more than $225. You should be able to sell it on Craigslist for more than that, especially if you emphasize in the title that it has HD resolution. It's a shame that most people on this forum only appreciate Thinkpads, when there are so many terrific non-Thinkpad laptops out there, such as this HP.
