1) For sale is my Thinkpad T61 14.1" with the following specs. The laptop is in good condition and has been mostly used at home. There is a small crack on the palmrest (shown below), but other than that the computer is in fine cosmetic condition.
If you have any questions after reading this post, please PM me and let me know.
Originally purchased in Aug 2008 for $1180 (and that was when it was on sale! MSRP was something like $1700). The laptop has many upgrades, such as the SSD. I'm also including many valuable extras, which are listed below.
Specs:
-14.1", 1440x900 high resolution screen
-2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo T8300 (Penryn, 45nm, 3MB Cache)
-4GB (2x2) RAM
-NVidia Quadro NVS 140M Graphics
-40GB SSD (Kingston SSDNow V-series, basically identical to the Intel X-25V. Has the Intel firmware on it so it supports TRIM and the Intel SSD toolbox works fine with it).
-9-Cell battery (Still in fair condition, gets 2-2.5 hours of battery life depending on settings)
-Intel 4965 AGN wireless card
-Bluetooth
-Mobile 3G ready (has SIM slot)
-SD Card Reader
-Fingerprint reader
-90W Power adapter
Comes with the following extras:
-Ultrabay SATA Hard drive adapter: allows you to easily add a 2.5" laptop hard drive in place of the DVD burner. This is an excellent way to have the speed of an SSD and the capacity of a conventional hard drive at the same time.
-8x Ultrabay Slim DVD Burner
-IBM Advanced Mini Dock (originally retailed for around $200!)
-Extra trackpoint caps
-Ultrabay travel bezel (basically a filler bezel for the ultrabay for when you want less weight)
-Logitech Alto notebook stand and wireless keyboard set
I can either format the computer for you so that it is ready for OS install, or I can install a fresh (and of course legitimate) copy of either Windows XP or Windows Server 2008 R2.
2) The laptop is used, originally purchased in Aug 2008 for $1180.
3) Images are at the end of this post
4) Asking $580 shipped.
5) Will accept: Paypal
6) Will ship to CONUS via USPS Priority Mail. Will ship internationally at extra cost.
7) I have feedback on heatware, ebay, and on the Canon Digital Photography forums.

I am selling this great laptop because I recently built a custom desktop. I no longer need a powerful laptop and I plan to buy a netbook for those times when I do need a computer on the go.
