Hi Everyone,

I got this computer as a gift and havent used it hardly at all, so figure Id sell it. Its new-ish because the package has been opened and it has been turned on, so not quite sealed in the box brand spanking new. But it has been sitting, plugged in, no scratches, dings nothing (Ive had it less than 2 weeks... I hope its in perfect condition still!! ) stickers removed (and stored in case you want them), recovery media made. Anyways, heres the specs:

Newish (see my reasoning above) OEM genuine Lenovo SATA ultrabay adapter III
Newish (installed, no bubbles really) Photodon crystal clear screen protector
Newish (just got it yesterday) OEM genuine 14W thinkpad sleeve (fits big, but thats what the CSR told me to buy)
not really added, but I made the rescue media for you. All boxes, papers, everything I got with the machine will be shipped too.

unfortunately no webcam or bluetooth.

Couple questions :

- What is the 7 digit machine type number?
- How long have you had it? I assumed it was brand new when you got it?

Machine type is 2823WC7. Ive had it less than 2 weeks, got it as a b-day/christmas present, brand new in the box from lenovo (well, giftwrapped first ). Ordered up some accessories from Lenovo and photodon like I normally do, got them, then today after seeing the computer sitting on my desk all nice and neat, un-moved since I put it there last week, I realized I really dont have a need for it.

Was this machine from the outlet? If so, you might want to note that, as outlet purchases aren't eligible for the usual range of warranty upgrades.

Maybe, but Im not sure as this was a gift and came in a brown thinkpad box.

I asked because the warranty was listed as a "maintenance offering" rather than a warranty -- the former is typical for machines from the outlet, whereas the latter is what you'd expect for a new machine.
