WTB: ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse
WTB: ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse
I thought I had revived mine, but it has now failed for good after under two years' use.
I would like to replace it with another, but cannot justify the $45+ price given the quality issues. If anyone has one available for less, please let me know.

Re: WTB: ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse
logitech m305 wireless optical mouse...$18 at Best Buy. No startup lag, works on granite, long battery life, rugged, small...just works great. I quit using my BT mouse that cost me $50. It just cannot hold a candle to the logitech m305.

Re: WTB: ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse
i have one i'm not using due to the OSes i use not supporting BT. it's like new with box and everything included. i've never had an issue with it, either.

Re: WTB: ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse
I was able to snag a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 for a low price with a coupon, but it doesn't seem to like 1.2V NiMH batteries.
I'll play around with it a bit more and if I can't get it to work with rechargeables, I may go for your TP mouse despite my reservations about the quality. Will post here if I decide to go that route.

Re: WTB: ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse
fwiw, the TPBT mouse is one of the highest quality mice i've used in ages.
i haven't tried rechargeable batteries with it though. since none of my systems currently support BT, i don't have an easy way to test. i always used lithium batteries to guarantee long life and solid signal.
