**Traded**: T400 for T60P

I have a T400 that is in excellent condition that I am looking to trade for a 15" UXGA IPS Flexview T60P. The T400 has a brand new systemboard thanks to Lenovo service. It also has almost 2 years of onsite warranty left. The only flaw I can find on the T400 is a small (pencil eraser head sized) pressure mark on the LCD in the upper right quadrant, only visible on a pure white background. No scratches, no cracks, no dead pixels, the LCD is very bright, and the keyboard has normal wear. I do not have recovery discs, therefore no OS will be installed. Here's the specs for the T400 -

I know that this T400 machine is worth much more than an average T60P, therefore it can be assumed that I am looking for an above average T60P with no flaws. I am particularly interested in a bright LCD with no dead pixels, no pressure marks, no dark spots, and no other defects. This will be my personal machine and I intend to hold onto it for quite awhile. If this trade interests you, please let me know.

They might replace the screen due to the pressure mark, FWIW.

BTW, 56.2Wh is the design capacity on the 6-cell, not the 9-cell.

Looks like an interesting machine - combination of Intel GPU (long battery life and cooler-running) with hi-res LCD. I've seen quite a few of these and they are nice.

Good luck with the trade. :D

great minds think alike, Harry!

i plan on holding on to my ddu for as long as i can keep it running. just laid in a couple of replacement lcds for good measure. too bad the warranty can't be extended beyond what i've already done. oh well... between this and the pianowizard ---> ajkula66 qxga maxed-out t43p, and a few other classics, i'm in a good 'ips' place.

best of luck finding your dream machine!

@ dr_st, ref. the battery design capacity being for a 6 cell. I looked it up and you are in fact correct. It is a 6 cell Enhanced Battery (Panasonic), FRU 42T5264
@ sarbin, you have a keen eye for good hardware. Good luck with them.
