T60 available for barter (calling all artists!)

If you've read my previous marketplace post about the T60 that I'm selling, you'll know that it's a very high-end machine in mint condition. I tore down and refurbished it to new condition, and am pleased to say that it looks absolutely splendid.

So what if you don't want to buy it? Well... I'm offering it for barter as well. I've got some empty walls in my house, and I want some art. Now this is a problem, because while I'm bloody good with Photoshop when it comes to actual ink and paper, I'm barely competitive at the stick figure level.

So here's the deal: if you're an artist and you want my T60 in exchange for some art, drop me a PM and let me know what you can do.

Mods: please advise if this is against the rules. I know I have to post an asking price for conventional sales, but I'm not sure what the exchange rate for ThinkPads/artwork should be. ;)

What an interesting offer -- I'm not an artist, but I have some nice artwork on my walls that I love -- don't think I have anything to trade, but wish I did because your T60 sounds great. :)

It seems to me if I did have something I could post a photo, but it might also help if you mentioned what art interests you?

Paintings/sketches, but past that... well... to mis-apply a quote by Justice Stewart, regarding "interesting art": "I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be embraced within that shorthand description; and perhaps I could never succeed in intelligibly doing so. But I know it when I see it."

I've got a few ideas of scenes and things that might be cool to have drawn or painted, but really I'm open to too many subjects to list.
