Fully loaded T43 in great condition still under on-site warranty. Will sell with XP or Win 7 Pro.

This has been my personal laptop for the past several years. I have returned to the X series for daily use (X60s) and so now this fine machine must go. It has been in a dock most of the past two years with little wear, and hardly used for about 8 months.

Almost new keyboard (replaced under warranty). Extra (new) keyboard is included. The LCD is bright with no dead pixels. There are a few minor scuffs here and there and a few scratches on the bottom. This machine has great spec's and upgrades. The IBM 5 year on-site warranty expires on February 8, 2011 and was purchased by me direct from Lenovo.

This machine does not come with the fingerprint reader but fully supports the upgrade by just swapping the palm rest assembly. (The motherboard and ultrabay drive cage are the correct parts to accept the fingerprint palm rest. It has been tested and it worked and fit perfectly.)

Note: The model number/serial number sticker is missing from the bottom of the machine. However, both are clearly available via the BIOS and all the Lenovo utilities that read the number from the BIOS, including the Lenovo warranty lookup web page. The warranty is good, I used it to replace the keyboard and DVD drive several times.

This is an XP machine and will be sold with the drive restored to XP factory condition. I currently have it running Windows 7 Pro and will sell it with 7 installed, including a legal license for 7 with key for additional $59.

Full spec.'s with mod.'s below. I am selling the T43 with a Fujitsu MHV2120AH (120GB 5400RPM) - No Error 2010. This Fujitsu drive was a warranty replacement and is about a year and a half old.

Thanks Ron. My eyesight is poor, and my wife is too vain to wear her glasses, so we've preferred 1024 x 768 in a 14" screen.
