Hey guys, first time on here and read a couple stickys and couldnt see anything about eBay so here goes...
Up for sale is an IBM / Lenovo T43 Laptop. This is the high end model with the 1.86GHz Intel Pentium M (2MB Cache), 1GB DDR2 RAM and ATi x300 dedicated graphics. This laptop originally cost over £1000 new, and was targeted at businesses and professionals needing a powerful and durable laptop. This ThinkPad contains the UltraNav pointing device, combining the traditional TrackPoint "nipple" with a scrolling trackpad. This laptop isnt the cheaper model with the Intel graphics, This features the ATi x300 GPU which is much faster and better for GPU intensive tasks such as gaming (This laptop plays Half-Life 2, Portal etc perfectly) Sold without AC adapter, but uses any standard ThinkPad charger.
The laptop is in good condition all around, The screen is bright and clear and the keyboard is very nice to type on. This laptop is IBM model number 2669, however the base says its a Type 1872, due to replacing the bottom of the laptop with a new replacement. The laptop is currently running Windows 7 Home Premium, which doesn't include a serial number so the buyer will have to either uninstall or activate when they get the laptop, however the laptop has a genuine IBM/Lenovo Windows XP Professional COA on the base, if you wish to install XP. Windows 7 runs excellently on this laptop.

Good Points:
Lid is in excellent condition
Windows XP COA on base
Base plastics replaced with new items
UltraNav works flawlessly (TrackPoint and TrackPad)
Wireless works perfectly with strong signal.
Feels solid to use.
The screen lid is strong and doesnt flex.
Hinges are like new and hold the screen perfectly.
Screen and backlight are as good as new (bright, no dead pixels.)
RAM has been upgraded to 1GB of DDR2, for fast use of Windows 7.
Aero works perfectly in Windows 7 and Windows Vista, with no slowdowns.
Speakers and volume hotkeys work perfectly.
Bad Points:
The battery only holds around 50-60 minutes charge.
Some screws are midding from the base, but does not affect rigidity.
The laptop is missing 4 keyboard keys to the right of the keyboard, However the keys are still pressable (only the keys are missing, domes are intact) and can be replaced for as little as £1 a key from various eBay sellers.
There is a small scratch on the screen, at the top, it is not noticable when the screen is on.
Any questions please ask.
This is a great laptop as a whole or as parts, But is sold as seen in the pictures so look carefully before bidding/buying.
Item will be shipped first class to UK only.
