I am selling a Thinkpad R52 that is cosmetically and functionally in excellent condition. When I first received it, the majority of the machine was in nice condition, but it had some scratches on the outside LCD cover, so I replaced the cover with a brand new one. The LCD is bright and flawless. The keyboard and other plastics show minimal wear. No excessive fan noise, it runs quiet and cool. The hinges are tight. Overall it's a very impressive example of this handsome classic. No problem running Windows 7 on this machine.
