Hi all,
Basically, I'm looking for a so-called "project" laptop. I'm obsessed with it being like new, so I'd have to replace all the external parts anyway, so I thought why not just try and get the cheapest one possible. I'd don't need a hard drive, as I have one already that I intend on using. A good battery life might be nice, but isn't necessary. Also, I would prefer if it came with an AC adapter, but again, this isn't required.

I've had better luck with Ebay and sellers who don't test their electronics.. I scored a MINT X61 Tablet (with touchscreen) 4GB, 160GB 7.2K, BT, for only $128. Seller said it was "broken, will not boot." OS needed to be re-installed, has been working perfectly for 8 months now.

WOW! That's an excellent deal...
I was more meaning if anyone on these forums had one, but I appreciate the tips. To those reading this thread, please let me know if you have an X61 Tablet for cheap to unload.
