FS: T40 genuine IBM battery (fits other T and R Thinkpads)

I used to own a T40; when I sold it, I forgot to include the spare battery in the sale. The spare was used as an alternate when I was travelling.

I don't know the condition of the battery but I do know that it was not abused. I have no means to test it.

I'm pretty sure that T6x and T4x use different batteries, so I don't think it will work.

= I don't recall the last time I used the battery. I don't know the current condition of the battery.

= Shipping to Ohio will cost approximately $13 (no tracking number) or $17 (with tracking number).

Given the increased cost of shipping, I don't think it is worth anyone's money to have this shipped. If you are still interested in trying this battery, send me a PM and I will send it too you for the cost of shipping alone.
