Selling my personal unit. I received a Dell Inspiron XPS as work for a client. But knowing my history with Dells, I will probably end up getting whatever comes out next after the R50p.

Hello Mark, been looking for you to get here!

Looks like Bruce M. wants your baby.

Folks, if Mark says this unit is "As New", you can take that to the bank!

Most of you know that I enjoy making my Thinkpads "Be all that they can be" with processor upgrades and overcoming memory limits.

Mark is my mentor!

Regards,

James

I was so used to the old forum layout (I was always popping my head in and taking a look), that it took me a few to adjust to the new, improved and slick thinkpad forums.

BTW, the A31p I'm selling I originally bought brand new from Bill. :)

If I wasn't gifted with an XPS Inspiron, I would still hold onto the A31p till whatever comes next. I'll end up posting an indepth review of the XPS Inspiron (like I did with the Inspiron 8100 I had years ago and 8200 which both went back to Dell ASAP, because they were terrible and cheap).

Unit will come factory installed fresh and restored.

I baby my equipment. I can't help it.

Just checked out the eBay entry ... that config rocks!!

Just wondering ... what's the main diff between a A series and T series? They *looks* almost identical, albeit thicker?

btw, I have an X30 1.02Ghz (26721BU), any idea if I can upgrade the CPU?

Well, you have to admit, Dell is a four letter word! ;-)

You have *no* idea how hard it was for me to restrain myself in the threads comparing TPs with Dell and Toshiba (who I dislike even more than Dell, but that was personal because their sales rep's practices were so sleazy).
