LF: T500 WSXGA+ LCD?

Well, the title says it all. My T500 took a 7-foot drop yesterday and the LCD is suffering from a massive amount of dead pixels on the upper right portion of the screen(as a testament to TP build quality that's all it suffered besides one of the display latches breaking off). I wanted to see if anyone here might have one of these panels before I hit Feebay... does anyone have one of these sitting around, by any chance? If someone also had the aforementioned display latch, I'd also be eternally grateful. :)

FYI, a W500 is identical, you just have to swap the clear plate decal that reads W500/T500. Also, some W500 LCDs are WUXGA, which would work, too.

Thanks! Though I am looking to steer clear from WUXGA right now, unfortunately... I used to have a Dell XPS with a 15.4" WUXGA and the pixel density was a little too much for me, I'm afraid. :(

I'm new here and dont mean to derail your thread, but I have been looking all over the web (including reading through these forums from time to time) looking for a 1920x1080 panel for my t510. I have found plenty of sites which -claim- to have the exact panel ( AUO B156HW01 V.4 is what lenovo used i believe ) -- but they are infact just "compatible" lcds, not actually the lcd i'm looking for. I'm afraid these "compatible" lcds are not going to meet the same specifications ( 95% gamut/270nit ..etc). Assuming thats a correct assumption, do any of you know where i could find the correct lcd? Thanks

Hi there,

this reply is no doubt far too late, but, in case you have the same problem in the future, I just wanted to let you know that I found an exact replacement here: http://www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/shop ... _30648.asp

Hope this helps, :)
