I have a 14.1" T42 XGA (1.7GHz, 1G) laptop for sale - one of the oldies but goodies. This system doesn't have warranty on it but I have thoroughly tested it and guarantee it won't be D.O.A. I will support any immediately occurring problems as best I can.

CONDITION:
External: Very good - normal wear and tear but nothing significant
LCD: No surface scratches - one very short (1/4") whitish stripe when powered on. Have to look for it to find it. Nice and bright with no dead pixels or other marks.
Keyboard: moderate shine and no letters worn off
Palmrest has two small bubble areas where someone used long screws from the bottom. Doesn't affect the performance of the system.

Price drop - $100 .. I guess these 'old' systems aren't that much in demand any more. These are still great systems for someone just wanting to get on the internet, do some word processing, etc. And these T42s sure are reliable if they don't have the GPU issue.

Anyone want something nice to give to your kids - or mother-in-law? This is a good, clean system ..
