**SOLD TO A FORUM MEMBER**

Up for sale is a very rare (in my opinion) IBM X31. I acquired this unit from someone locally have had it for a few months. The reason why I feel this unit is so rare is because it is basically LIKE NEW! It's in MINT condition! It even has the original plastic protector strip on the power button bezel and the LCD status light bezel (they have never been peeled off). They keyboard has no shine to it and the original stickers are on this machine. I honestly think I was the first person to use this as it's really in such great shape (rare for an X31 these days).

I have performed the following upgrades:

1) Upgraded the hard drive to an 80GB 5400RPM 8MB Cache Western Digital IDE 2.5" Drive which is BLAZING FAST. I get 66MB peak speeds using HDTUNE. I also installed XP Pro from an IBM image on the machine and the partition is there as well. XP Home COA is on bottom.

2) Upgraded RAM to 2GB (max)

There are a few slight smudges on the top lid of the lcd (very minor - see pictures). Other than that the machine is MINT!!!
