Alright, today I have decided to sell my X61s laptop. Its in great condition, but not flawless as I have used it regularly since I have owned it. It was never in a corporate situation so it isn't one of those random beaters you can find on ebay.

It is 7668-CTO
Factory Bluetooth, AGN, Ultralight display. It is out of warranty.

Thanks to a sad accident, the display had to be replaced. It now has a brand new factory fresh from lenovo (not refurbished) ultralight display that is totally flawless and significantly brighter and crisper than the old UL display.

It comes with a 320gb WD hard drive, preloaded with windows XP professional from the factory.

It also is equipped with 4gb 2x2gb of ram in a matched pair up from 2x1gb from the factory.

It will include a brand new 8 cell lenovo battery strait from lenovo that will be unopened in the box. It of course includes a charger which will be a lenovo 65 watt that is is nearly new itself. It will also include a microfiber rectangle that I keep in between the keyboard and screen to make sure the trackpoint nub never touches the screen.

Overall the laptop is wonderful, keyboard shows normal shine and from use but has been well taken care of and never abused in any way. The lid has some wear on the corners from going in and out of bags but has been babied as much as a "laptop on the go" could be babied. There is a fine crack in the lid near the latch, I don't know how it got there, but its a pretty thin part of the lid. It is shown in a photo entirely and isn't getting larger. Besides that, its perfect.

The package will also include a waterfield sleeve for a 4 cell x61 setup. I don't have a 4 cell battery for this rig, but it still comes in handy, you just need to remove the battery.

It is a beautiful laptop that has performed flawlessly for me and is the last and best generation of the 4:3 ultra portables with the rare ultralight display. If you have any questions at all feel free to ask.

The screen is literally brand new, so is the battery. I have opened the battery and am performing its first cycle now to condition it properly.

I can't resist, one more time. I would consider some trades for other portable thinkpads.

This is still available I guess, battery now has 9 cycles and reads more than design capacity.

I miss thin screen bezels. used to have an x61s with similar specs. never thought i'd get nostalgia from a fs post.

I am looking at buying a new keyboard and it will be included with the package for the same price if someone jumps on it. Price really isn't negotiable at this point, its just too good of a laptop and to get anything better I'm going to have to spend quite a bit more.

This baby is still kicking around. Its a beauty that works flawlessly with a brand new screen and keyboard, what more could you want?

I just decided to bump this. I installed the new keyboard yesterday and the machine is looking really great. I'm open to offers and just looking to potentially switch to a large main machine. This thing has always been flawless..never over heated..never let me down once.

I can sell this for 325 shipped if it happens soon. Semester is just about over so its a good time to transition.

If anyone needs any newer photos I dont mind snapping some off. Nothing has really changed though. I've been using the new keyboard so it is becoming less than new but still obviously in great shape.
