I need M2.5 x 16mm screws for the Thinkpad T30.

I have found them on ebay.com but the seller is not willing to ship abroad. He doesn't even respond to my queries.

Looks like these are more expensive, have a slotted head (as opposed to the Torx ones you referenced), but at least he ships to Germany:

Thank you Ray, but I've never seen a slotted-head screw in a computer, not even in Germany
It's not for the look, the slotted cylinder head is simply too high.

Meanwhile a member of this forum has ordered the screws from the above mentioned Ebay seller for me. So I can close this thread now.

For what its worth - I've had good luck finding replacement screws and small bolts from a hobby shop. Many of the small metric items are used in RC cars and also trains. The DuBro company has metrics aplenty.
