IBM Thinkpad 570 Battery --Used?-- one available

I have an IBM Thinkpad 570 Battery that may be used but I am not sure. It is in the original box but the box is open and the battery is out of the wrapper. I don't have anything to test it with. If you are willing to take a gamble onit I will only ask $5 plus shipping.
