FOUND: Camera cover plate for T400s or T410s
FOUND on eBay: I know this is a long shot, but I could use the camera/webcam cover plate (clear plate) that fits above the LCD on a T400s or T410s. It's a small, plastic decal with a clear window that covers the internal webcam. Each ThinkPad seems to have a slightly different cover plate, so I really need one for a T400s or T410s, which are the same.
It's about $35 from IBM and comes in a kit with other misc. parts that I don't need.
I checked with a couple of eBay vendors, but they don't have that model available.
If you have one, please PM me the price including shipping (a stamp should do it). Thank you!

If all else fails, look for some thick black electricians' tape and cut your own. Less than a buck in a DIY shop.

Indeed. I could even use the solid black blanking clear plate that I removed, I'd just need to punch in two holes, one for the camera and one for the LED indicator. However, I am going for the factory finish look.RealBlackStuff wrote:If all else fails, look for some thick black electricians' tape and cut your own. Less than a buck in a DIY shop.

That's a great deal for both the camera and clear plate, however, it's for a T400 or R400 - I have the T400s, which, of course, is different!

Camera LED does not work? Make sure it's not taped over. :)
