I'm selling a T410s 2901-CTO for a friend. Recently serviced by Lenovo, it is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition. The specs are as follows.

• Core i5-520M (2.4GHz)
• 2GB RAM (1 DIMM)
• 128GB SSD
• 14.1" 1440x900 display, 300 nits brightness
• DVD-RW
• ThinkPad b/g/n wireless
• Bluetooth
• Fingerprint reader
• Integrated webcam
• New 6-cell battery; ~3 cycles
• Windows 7 Professional, COA intact
• 65-watt AC adapter

The warranty was just recently upgraded to a 3-year depot warranty, which will expire in March 2013. However, the changes are not yet reflected on Lenovo's website; this discrepancy should be resolved soon. In any case, the buyer will be provided with a copy of the warranty extension order confirmation from Lenovo.

I may buy this for my nephew. He is in Vancouver, Canada. Does the warranty work in Canada too? How much will it cost if he wants to receive it at his home versus at a friend's Seattle address? And what if I pay by AMEX or by another credit card?

Unfortunately, I cannot ship to Canada. Shipping to Seattle would be included in the price. I accept payment through PayPal, although I request that you add 3% if the payment is funded by credit card.

According to Lenovo, the 2901 type is eligible for International Warranty Service, so it should work in Canada.
The machine itself weighs 3.94lbs; I'm not sure of the weight of the power adapter.
