I'm looking for SATA data and power connectors. What I don't want is the standard cable connectors you get for desktops (the thin ones with little connectors). The image below has what I want or something similar at least. I don't care if it's new, used, the wires or torn up, etc. Just send me a picture of what you have and how much you want for it and I'll say yes or no. Thank you.

Howdy, that's my image so I'll comment on it. The data plug on the top is simply a severely cut-down standard SATA data cable. The bottom is a chopped down Molex-to-SATA power adapter, which I used as the red and black wires were already easy to access as they were.

Ah, nice to meet you and I'm a fan of your work! I'm about to use your guide to do the same thing (successfully, I hope). I checked out a couple of places in my area today to try and find something like those but none were even close to as sturdy as the ones you used.

I actually have the molex-to-sata power adapter laying around to use from my desktop but it doesn't have the bulk of the one you used. I suppose the bulk doesn't always mean quality... but to me the ones you used seem more sturdy for this application.

I will do some looking around online tonight and see if I have better luck now that you've given me some actual names to put with the picture.

That eBay seller has none left, but there are similar (or identical, can't see) on eBay:

Check the one from USA-seller Nycom-Tech, looks very similar:

When you remove the IDE connector, leave the metal studs. Then modify the long end of the connector (left on my above picture) by drilling a matching hole for the stud and sawing off the rest.
You need some spacers to lift the connector off the mobo, but a SATA hard drive will then fit exactly in place of the old IDE drive.

For spacers, check if the wife/girlfriend/daughter has some glass or plastic beads of ca. 4-5 mm
