Any compatibility issues w/ replacement screens?

New screens are available for $100 +/-.
Are there any issues regarding compatibility of replacement screen?
Does P/N or FRU need to match?
Any matching issues between existing inverter and replacement screen?

Are there any matching issues for installing new screen in T60 14.1 XSGA+? Inverter? Changes is production run?

As long as you get one of the 14.1" T60 LCDs, you'll be OK. You can even swap between XGA<->SXGA+ and cable/inverter remain the same. The important thing is to get one of the LCDs that were mounted in T60 series. Avoid anything listed as "compatible". LCDs from T4x won't work either. You can find the T60 FRUs in the HMM.

There are no problems as long as you install an IBM FRU# for the 14" T60.

BOE-Hydis 13N7061
TMD 13N7063

Thanks guys for the tips. I have asked ebay seller of new screen ($95 +/-) to verify manufacturer and model but so far they will only claim the screen will work. So, I have doubts. Has anyone been successful with replacments from Screenaid? I did find one seller that lists a valid IBM FRU#, but screen is 50% more that low price seller. So, I remain bumfuzzled and continue to use external monitor.....

You might consider this SXGA+ lid assembly - $51 - great deal and without a doubt will work in your T60.
