**SOLD**: Thinkpad Transnote - Rare BNIB - New
Posted: Fri May 27, 2011 11:26 am
I am selling a rare piece of Thinkpad history, and am struggling with how to price it. It is a Thinkpad Transnote, new in it's original box with accessories. Wait...did he say new? Yes, brand new as if you opened the box from IBM on May 27th 2001. I did power it up to make sure that all of backup/CMOS batteries work, and they do. The main battery appears to be charging, but while never used, at 10 years old I'd assume it needs replacement and is not guaranteed to hold a charge. The accessories are; a USB floppy drive, a port extender, and a 64MB RAM upgrade....all new in original packaging. The CD's are unopened, and ALL documentation is there and pristine. Not sure what else to say about it except that it would make a really nice addition to anyone's collection.
