I've got Win 2000 on it right now, but I'm going to be loading XP on it some time this week. That brings up a question, however; if I've got the XP full setup disk, do I even need recovery disk? Want the Win XP disk do the same thing? Thanks

Yes and no if you have the recovery disk it will also load all the drivers and extras that come with the T23

If you just use WinXp then it will not install all the factory stuff :D

So I need to use the XP disk AND the recovery disk then, right? If so, then I'll still be needing the recovery disk for the XP op. system. Either of you got those? Thanks.

if you send him the XP recovery CD would he not require a XP COA?
if his system was originally shipped with WIN2K and he does not have a copy of winXP, the win2K COA on the bottom of the computer will not work.

Just to make sure that he is aware of this.
