T43p -- Top-end Unit, uncertain condition

I have just replaced my T43p with a new T410 and want to sell the T43p carcass.
I say carcass because it has a problem booting and I don't know exactly what the problem is. Look at my prior posting on the "0211 Error on POST" to see the details (system can't recognize the keyboard).
The system had been working fine, but the fan was getting unbearably noisy, so I bought a brand new fan and -- carefully -- replaced the old one. When I tried to boot up the system again, I got the 0211 error problem.
Not being a PC tech jock (I am a retired financial services exec), I don't have access to spare parts to try substituting keyboards, etc. to try troubleshooting the system. Any local computer shop would charge me $75/hour just to look at it, with a 1 hour minimum, plus whatever it might cost to fix it. Also, since I work with my wife in her financial planning business, I really needed to upgrade my own laptop to be compatible with the one her company issues her, so I was just trying to postpone the inevitable by fixing a noisy fan on a computer I love (by the way, the new fan works fine -- very quiet)...
So... what I have is a 2668PDU -- 2GB RAM (upgraded from the standard 1GB), the 1400x1050 screen (new 1 year ago), the fastest processor on a T43p (2.26GHz), fingerprint reader, security chip, etc. A good overview of the specs is at: http://www.epinions.com/specs/IBM_Think ... C_Notebook
I also have two HDDs that go with it -- a 100GB 7200RPM Seagate and a 160BM 5400RPM Seagate. The 160GB Seagate works fine and supports all of the ThinkPad safety features, but does give the POST error message that this is not a supported drive. Lenovo never updated their BIOS to add this as an acceptable drive, and the BIOS is configured to just ignore the message and go on.
The system is in excellent cosmetic condition, very carefully taken care of, never dropped, had anything spilled on it, etc.... nothing chipped, damged or missing.
The system has been continuously updated with the latest version of XP-Pro and the Lenovo ThinkVantage System Updates, and I also have all the original factory recovery CD set. I also have a docking station to go with it, along with some S-Video cables that are not usable on my new T410.
Anyone interested.???
