Seems like I will need more parts again. This time I would need 15" 4:3 LCD brackets for T60. The metal brackets between hinges and the LCD panel. Part numbers seem to be 26R9425 and 26R9424

Still looking for these...no one has any broken screen assembly or something?

I've replaced more T60 LCD panels than I care to think about, and I do not recall seeing 'metal brackets' separate from the hinges. the hinges themselves however do have a metal bracket incorporated into the hinge. Are you certain you are not looking for hinges?

Well, I had bought a screen assembly without the LCD panel and separately bought a new BoeHydis UXGA panel but when I was about to install it I noticed there's a gap between the hinges and the LCD panel edges and worse the screw holes didn't match at all. Then I found this: http://cgi.ebay.com/IBM-THINKPAD-T60-15 ... 672523155? And there's another one for the other side. I have no idea if there is some differences in these assemblies but I am quite positive I have the right panel and those brackets seem like they would make it to fit. Please correct me if I may be wrong...

Well, I guess I never noticed them, or had assumed that they were part of the LCD panel. That EBay seller ships to Europe by the way, but $20 for shipping & handling....ouch. I'll take a look and see if I have any of those brackets. Good luck in your search.

Exactly...$20 for shipping for such items is a big OUCH! And those sellers don't usually bother to use any cheaper method.

I would really appreciate if someone could find those parts to sell...

I am also looking for another pair of these LCD brackets (for a 15.0" 4:3 T60 LCD) - I got lucky earlier this year obtaining a pair from a forum member - The part numbers 26R9425 and 26R9424 are not mentioned in the HMM and can confirm do not come with the actual hinges as have ordered several 15.0" hinges directly from from IBM parts - Therefore can only assume that they are possibly only available when ordering a new 15.0" LCD directly from Lenovo/IBM parts.

I have come across many sellers and IT recyclers disposing cracked/broken 15.0" 4:3 T60 LCD's with the brackets still attached, mainly thinking they are part of the actual LCD assembly -

I am out of town until Monday. Send me a pm at that time to remind me. I'll look around. I must have some of those somewhere. The problem is that I generally don't ship anything but Priority Mail or Express Mail to Europe, and they cost me between $28 and $32 to Finland. The only other option is what is called "first class", which is about $12, but I quit doing it because about half the packages were lost somewhere after going through Customs in the destination country. (If it were a small item like a fan, it would fit into a special-size box which is about half the price. on Priority Mail)

Didn't find them so still looking.
